The jockey championship is composed of 4 select races held at the Happy Valley Racecourse on a single race night. The champion is crowned from the rider who accumulates the most points of the scheduled championship races. Points Awarded as follows: 1st Place finish receives 12 pts. - 2nd Place finish receives 6 pts. 3rd Place finish receives 4pts.
The champion jockey will receive HKD $200,000 and a beautiful trophy. 2nd place jockey will receive HKD $100,000.

2019 Results - Karis Teetan Crowned Champion Jockey over stellar field with 20 points. Ryan Moore 2nd with 18 points. Vincent Ho and Colin Keane tied for 3rd place with 12 points each.
2018 Results - Silvestre de Sousa Champion Jockey with 34 points. Colin Keane 2nd lace with 16 points. Javier Castellano and Vincent Ho tied for 3rd place.
2017 Results - Zac Purton Champion Jockey with 24 points. Silvestre de Sousa 2nd place with 18 points. Pierre Charles-Boudot 3rd place with 16 points.
2016 Results - Hugh Bowman Champion Jockey with 18 points and 1 win. Ryan Moore 2nd place with 14 points. Mirco Demuro & Keita Tosaki tied for 3rd with 12 points each.
